Shaan Patel

Shaan Patel is a Grade 12 student at the Cygnus World School where he studies English, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and Political Science. He holds an avid interest in writing, debate, chemistry, and basketball and has been a part of the school basketball team since 2017. An avid Chemistry enthusiast, Shaan has previously had his academic research published in a notable academic journal and is currently working on a second research paper on environmental degredation.

As the ex-Head Boy of the school, he firmly believes that with unrelenting efforts, the right leadership, and teamwork, it is possible to tackle social issues in a manner that leads to long term change.
